    Happy new year!

I know most people’s resolutions will be around fitness and health but do you also happen to have any related to testing?

I want to read a couple of books such as Explore it and More agile testing.

I also would like to post more regularly to my blog with my experiences.

And finally I want to become more proficient at scripting languages such as groovy and python to get the most out of the automation tools I currently use.

    How about you?

@kim Happy New Year to you. Although sort of related to testing. My aim is to read a book a month this year. Sounds easy but I seem to struggle with this one every year.

I don’t really do new years resolutions but I have my ongoing resolutions:

Have fun while testing and writing tools and scripts.
Keep it interesting, try to find new, unexplored territory – learn new things.
Use (more/better) humor while coaching testers.
    Write and deliver better pressentations.
Work on achieving better integration between testers and developers.
Finally finish writing that testing book!

    Happy 2015

Though we are already nearing the end of January, still, Happy new year!!

As for the resolutions, I must admit not to engage into those regularly, rather than that, I prefer setting actionable and timed goals so I can act upon them.

For instance, for this year, I’ve set for goals deepening my knowledge in automation testing, particularly, really getting to learn more about programming to strengthen that ability.

Furthermore, I am starting to take my first firm and steady steps towards performance testing. At my new job, they have already (for some reason) the expert in Performance, which is funny, because quite frankly I have just begun to scratch the surface.

At least those are my goals up until today from a technical standpoint 🙂

    ¡¡May you all have a great 2015!!
