    Hi there,

In the past year or so I have been working on a project to gather software testing information and put it in a visual form: http://thetestingmap.org/

But sometimes information is boooooorrrrrriiiinnngggggg. So I wanted to make a fun place where we could learn how to test. I imagined it as a challenge, a challenge for our knowledge and skills.

    Here it is: http://testingchallenges.thetestingmap.org/

Can you take on the challenge to discover all the 18 test scenarios for a text field? If you take it, I will help you on the way…

P.S. I have two more scenarios pending: pass a html5 validation and update the quantity field of a shopping cart. If you have any ideas about testing challenges please let me know and I will implement them.

In the mean time I have added several other scenarios. If you want to take a testing challenge: http://testingchallenges.thetestingmap.org/

    Hi @claudiu-draghia,

Very interesting from someone who isn’t a tester. I tried your first challenge, I got 10 of the 18.

I was surprised to see you were looking for 18. I was surprised that I found 10 of those. I’d like to know the rest of them but I don’t want to ruin the challenge for the next person.

Hi, I too found it very interesting. My score for the Challenge# 1 was 13. Still thinking what could possibly be the remaining tests 🙂
